DAVEN RAMA 9 is a boutique luxury residential community shaped for people with distinctive taste, a passion for design, and a deep appreciation for cars. Developed as only 12 private residences in the heart of Rama 9, the project redefines the urban home as both a living sanctuary and a personal showcase. Its architecture blends timeless formality with contemporary expression, where grand spaces, curated functions, and a showroom-like garage become part of one refined lifestyle.
DAVEN RAMA 9 began with a clear ambition: to create a small premium community for residents with a strong sense of character. With the client’s background in imported automobile showrooms and a new direction in real estate, the house could not be designed as a typical luxury residence. It had to speak to people who value design, privacy, cars, and individuality. The challenge was to shape only 12 units into a community that feels exclusive yet complete, formal yet never predictable. Parking and garage space became a defining feature, while the home itself needed to feel open, grand, and refined, supported by the advantage of a prime Rama 9 location and a market expectation for something truly memorable.
Working closely with the marketing team, we began by studying comparable housing projects to understand the gaps, pain points, and missed opportunities often found in premium developments. The strategy was to make every square metre work harder through precise zoning, efficient planning, and a complete residential program. Beyond essential living functions, we introduced lifestyle-driven spaces that sharpen the project’s identity: a garage conceived like a private showroom, a man cave with a supercar soul, and studio-working areas for focused creativity. These additions turn the house into more than a residence; they make it a personal stage for owners with distinctive taste, daily rituals, and refined ambitions.
The architecture is built around a new façade language inspired by classical plaster mouldings. By rotating the profile from horizontal to vertical and reducing its ornament into clean, chamfered geometry, the design creates a reinterpreted classicism that feels timeless, sharp, and contemporary. Inside, the volumes are refined for openness and quality of life. A glasshouse draws natural light deep into the home, while the indoor swimming pool and central courtyard offer privacy with a sense of calm retreat. Every layer, from spatial planning to furniture details, is carefully designed to add character, surprise, and functional precision without losing the project’s formal elegance or its quiet sense of prestige.
