WHY 10 X 10 ?
10x10 House begins with a simple question: what kind of life can unfold within a precise 10-by-10-metre footprint? Rather than treating compactness as a limitation, the project explores it as a framework for clarity, efficiency, and everyday comfort.
CONCEPTUAL IDEA
The plan starts from a perfect square, then divides it into a 3-by-3 grid, like an XO board. Essential domestic functions are placed around the perimeter, while the centre is deliberately left open as a flexible space.
RESULT
The outcome is a single-storey house shaped by universal design, accessible for wheelchair users and easy for every generation to navigate. At its heart, the open centre can shift from family gathering to play area, dining extension, work corner, or quiet breathing space.
